<p><strong><em>Background</em></strong><em>: The involvement of birth attendants has been shown to have a positive impact on pregnancy outcomes. Unprepared fathers tend negative experiences during childbirth. Mothers and partners need be prepared since face childbirth satisfying experience. It is necessary arrange learning program for classes not only pregnant woman but also their partners.</em></p><p><strong><em>Objectives:</em></strong><em> purpose this study develop birthing class design the prenatal couple education program.</em></p><p><strong><em>Methods</em></strong><em>: This research development (R&D) level 1. product developed program. stages are 1) analysis gaps needs program; 2) Drafting; 3) internal validation </em></p><p><strong><em>Results</em></strong><em>: found that mother high. material most needed in husband’s role delivery process. In management class, partner want balance practicum theory method, duration 90 minutes, with number participants less than 5 couples use modules. structured form training curriculum consist competencies; outcome; 3)study materials; 4) subjects; 5) course loads; 6) methods 7) assessments. </em></p><strong><em>Conclusions</em></strong><em> by women partners. can used preparing model.</em>
